General meeting

Dansk Betonforening (in English: The Danish Concrete Society) is a professional association under IDA, and therefore the general meeting complies with the guidelines set out in IDA's framework statutes for professional societies.

The annual general meeting is held between 15 February to 31 March. The notice convening the general meeting is announced at least 14 days before the meeting takes place, with details of the meeting’s agenda. Proposals to be considered at the general meeting must therefore be received by the Executive Committee no later than 1 February.

The agenda is as follows:

  1. Election of chairman and secretary
  2. Presentation of the annual report
  3. Presentation of the financial statements for information
  4. Future work and budget for the current year
  5. Received proposals
  6. Election of chairman/chairwoman/chairperson
  7. Election of Executive Committee members
  8. Election of alternates
  9. Election of critical auditor
  10. Any other business

An extraordinary general meeting may be held if the Executive Committee deems it necessary or if at least one tenth of the association's voting members so request.
